You do realize that just because the current NFL owners took little to no financial risk that it had nothing to do with starting a complete new pro football. I get the point you are trying to make, but it was a terrible analogy.

You do realize that even current owners didn't just fall into a guaranteed successful NFL franchise, right? Careful and strategic decisions were made with a lot of money on the line. I know it looks easy and you probably run a really bad arse franchise in madden, but's the owners inherently take on much more financial risk than the players.
