The 2007 squad, yes, however that is no slight as every HC inherits somebody else's players and no small feat in getting them to the pinnacle of college football. His 11 team was lights out. I do believe he has missed opportunities but welcome to the human race...who hasn't...most of us do so in private and not in full view of the world
Yeah, the whole "winning with ____'s players" is tiresome. Unless the new coach goes full Larry Coker and truly implodes once his inherited talent leaves, it has no merit. 2011 put to rest this argument against Les.

A little off topic, but: In this society when it's comes to big significant leaders, in their poor light/criticism, we label them either an arsehole or an idiot, or a biotch or an idiot. Obama-arsehole, Bush-idiot, Hillary-biotch, Palin-idiot. Same is true in coaching, Saban-arsehole, Miles-idiot. Doesn't mean he is, but since he's a generally nice guy and can't be labeled an arsehole, people just put him in that "idiot" category and I believe he embraces it to a certain degree because it allows him to be underestimated.
