clean it up good then make the dog an inside dog and you will be shocked at the demeanor change. My dog I adopted 11 years ago was an outside dog that never would shut the f*** up and once I brought him in, it was a night/day transformation. My cat I had didn't put up with his sh*t and one good paw slap, my dog was like "Ok....and we won't ever get close again"
