I just got a letter emailed to me about my dad's case. They currently qualify for rental assistance at the moment because their home is not accessible($841 for the month). Letter says to contact FEMA when the home is accessible for an inspection. When I registered them online I checked the "unknown" option regarding damage because we didn't know at that point. My dad is on hold with them right now to try and update them about that(it wouldn't let me do that online).
Sooo....if you haven't heard from FEMA and you preregistered before you knew the damage....maybe that's why they haven't called yet?
