Those suck too. Main benefit is its easier to apply downward force for the initial penetration, but the benefits end there. . . The blades break very easily and it's hard to get leverage when the heel of your palm isn't against anything.

You must've had one with a larger gripe that allowed you to use the heel of your palm. They gave us ones exactly like in the one in your pic to use for a private party and we all switched back to knives in 30min. Just not the same precision or speed
