I also worry about people who can't fully comprehend. I said it was a shucker gadget, I didn't say it was the one you are showing. The one I had cost around $40 and was given to me. It had a wood base that broke after the first oyster, I repaired it only later to find out it sucked at shucking. I told the guy who gave it to me to come pick it up and he said no just throw it away which I gladly did.

Shortly after I invested in a custom oyster knife with a mesquite handle tailored made to the size of my hand. I can now open with a similar pace as those who do it for a living.
