Not for Saban. But maybe the rant knows better than him.

It doesn't matter who is departing early. If you haven't prepared for that the last couple of years it's too late. Every now and then you'll find yourself in a bind at a position. In that case you make up for it with a juco or play a fredhman and hope for the best.

You mean to tell me that if I were to pull up the past 5 years at Alabama, he would have the same exact numbers as you stated above for each position?

Cmon man put the pipe down.

Oh, frick right off with that.

Steve Spurrier said he retired because he realized that cfb is about recruiting the players, that college coaches can no longer out-coach with X's and O's. Saban gets by only on the reputation that people have built up with their god-coach praise of him. So, all of you artards go on recruiting boards—which recruits read—and talk him up as being some sort of god-coach. And he isn't. He's more a beneficiary of the praise heaped upon him. Exhibit A: had two stellar seasons at LSU, and several mediocre seasons. Exhibit B: that praise led to his getting unprecedented control over an NFL team, where he couldn't get by on reputation alone, and floundered out of the league in a season and a half. So, he goes to one of the two or three college schools with reputations as big as his, and has a decent but not great season...until his and bama's bullshite echo chamber reputations can score them the recruiting pick of the litter. Then, he's successful again, despite several seasons of par results, and everyone's back on the saban/bama bandwagon.

Chavis was an absolutely shite recruiter. Good coach, but leaves the cupboard completely bare. LSU recruited as well as we did while he was here because of miles and frank, which is not disputable. Now, with Aranda, we've got a young, talented, innovative rising star who calls games that LB's will want to be a part of. Combined with O's gangbusters recruiting, we've got a very strong thing going. The defensive recruiting is even better now and the results are gonna show on the scoreboard.

This is false and you can't prove it which is why you keep spewing this with no facts to back it up
