The roadway. One side is 6' water, on one side of the barrier. The other side, you can see the asphalt. You can only see 1/2 of the road.

Look at AutoYesClown's 1st photo. The left side is at least 6' deeper than the right. You can't even see the westbound lane. The eastbound lane is dry!

Imagine 6' water X however many miles back it is holding it.
