I've been watching the stream here and there. A large part of it was about MUT and Draft Champions which disappointed me. Really wanted to see some playbooks/gameplay and CFM talk. EA has pushed their chips into MUT and is not looking back

To be fair MLB The Show, NBA 2K, and FIFA all are doing the same. I never played MUT last year because I think football is the worst sport to have a my team mode. I've pretty much given up on sports game having an in depth franchise mode.

As posted below, this is what the sports game market has come to. They have found a huge gold mine and they're going to abuse that until it dries up (it never will).
MUT is actually a lot of fun for a few months. Upgrading your team and making crucial decisions on who fits your play style. It's like do I get this speed burner with so so hands or do I get a strong possession receiver?. Once they start to release the 95s then the 99s it's like well this isn't even real. Jerry Rice with 95 speed? Yeah ok.
