Any flooding in there? Totally just curious as we lived on Greenview back in the 90s.

Yes, Fairwood Estates had quite a lot of water. S. Flannery was flooded at both ends (Millerville and Old Hammond). The streets running parallel to S. Flannery were also flooded, including Greenview, but not too many homes took on water, just on the far west ends. I live on S. Fairview. We were dry for the most part, except for the street, which was flooded. On the North side of S. Flannery, it is much lower and lots of water in those homes.

We live on Heartwood and evaced at 5am Sunday morning with water just a few feet from our front door. As we were riding out in the National Guard truck there were houses that already had water in them.
The early flooding there was due to the backflowing storm drains from Jones Creek, not the Amite.
