Performance is taking bulk donations at their fab shop on the corner of Perkins and Pecue. They have forklifts, storage space and night security. It gets distributed from there to churches in the affected areas by flatbed. They are vetting best they can any place they are distributing to. Church of St Amant and St Alyoishis(sp?) are two of them. There are many others. If anyone needs to get in touch with them email me at braindeadboxer@gmail.com

I'm in Bossier City so that's why I was asking for info on organizations. At the moment I'm donating proceeds of my sales on eBay to St. Matthew's Orthodox Church in Baton Rouge. It's the only one in the immediate area that actually help in situations like this. I just heard back from The United Way's central office in New Orleans about getting them on the list as well and they said they were checking into now. I emailed a reporter that had links to organizations PayPal accounts for donations, about reaching out to them to see if we can get them on the list as well. It truly amazes how little attention this getting and the pushback my wife is getting from FEMA. She's meeting ( via conference call ) with the head of Emergency Preparedness later today, to see if they can get this straightened out. She's actually on the phone trying to get people with the housing authority and other people with catastrophic losses to go to the meeting to plead their case. FEMA wants everything to go through a bid process because the way Katrina was handed. I know exactly what they're talking about but we got shite done. I was working for Bernhard Mechanical when Katrina hit. Jim Bernhard, who sold his stock in Bernhard to start The Shaw Group, was head Disaster Relief ( I forget what his title actually was ) for Blanco at the time until Shaw was given a 2 billion blank check to rebuild New Orleans. Needless to say, we got a new bunch of no bid work and you could see the fat cats lining their pockets. That being said, we got shite done quick! I was on Poydras a week after the storm. I watched Dick Cheney's motorcade go by the 2nd day I was there. A month later were working on 700 unit FEMA trailer park. Where is our President right now? He's golfing. I'm sorry for the rant but the whole time I'm typing this I hear my wife telling what she can and can't do. So sorry for the rant, just know our thoughts and prayers are with all those effected
