When I was cashing a ticket at the Palms book, there was a guy arguing with the ticket writer.
He was arguing because his ticket lost. He bet on Stanford and he thought by betting on a team, he was simply betting on them to win. He had no idea what the point spread was.
He would not take no for an answer. I stuck around just to see how it would turn out. Guy was like "You guys didn't tell me that Stanford had to win by 14 points!" and "You all have no idea what you are doing!" and the manager was like "I have been doing this for over 20 years".
Eventually I left because it was getting boring(same arguments being rehashed over and over) but he was still going as I left.
