I've had it for about 7-8 years now. It's so loud that I have to use a noise maker at night to fall asleep. Went to ENT but no help. It sucks but I just live with it. Just failed my first hearing test too.

Sounds like me. I now wear hearing aids during the day. The ringing seems a bit better when I'm wearing my hearing aids, but I'm not sure if that is a coincidence or not.
