Probably not. He should take him to Sausage Party instead. He's at an age that he'll probably enjoy an animated movie more.

The animated SS movie is more inappropriate for an 8 yr old

I took my 10 year old to see it and he did fine. Then again, his favorite tv show right now is game of thrones, so I don't think SS was going to shock him too much

I watch a lot of comic movie with my kids and the only one i've felt slightly uncomfortable watching was Deadpool so far. This one is fine imo..
how old are your kids?
i told mine they can't see that till they're 30.
Mine have seen all of the marvel and DC movies up to this (except Dark Knight rises (my 7 year old has a problem with the Ledger's Joker) and Deadpool.
Well Green Lantern and Xmen 3. because i don't want them thinking that shite is canon.

Eh, I haven't received any phone calls from his teachers saying he's trying to chop off other kids' heads with swords and it gets him to sit down and be still for an hour. Plus, he likes dragons.

I get it. His mom feels the same way. I had a talk with him and made him promise not to tell his mom that I let him watch it.

Nah. Too much violence. Take him to sausage party instead. It's a cartoon.
