I think a lot of people would say they wouldn't abort but the statistics bear out that they would.
If you think about the idea that an adult man or woman with a child's mind will live long after the parents and left to the state institutions, then I can see why that would be an option.
And Down syndrome has a lot of secondary medical issues. I feel like this issue gets a lot of play bc people think ds is all full of corky when there are many more other things.
Just like abortion for non medical issues. People say they are against them...for other people.
