re: I'd like to see gold jerseys this year

When we first started the modern era tradition of the canary yellow in 1957 (may be off a year), we wore all gold (canary) against Florida. I can't upload a pic, so google 1957 LSU uniform and you can see kinda what it looked like. It is a black and white photo... the fourteenth pic on google. I have only seen one color pic of it, and i loved it. It's a shame i can't find one online anymore. We didn't do the stripes correct the few times we've worn gold in the recent past.


I think even Cannons Heisman painting is him in a gold jersey.
