It isn't a cool thing to have anymore and quality has slipped, but the 1100 is still a very good shotgun in the duck blind. I would look at one before I spent the $1600 or whatever it costs now for a SBE2.

A5 and a SX3 both fit me, I couldn't justify spending an extra $450 for the browning.

I bought a new SX3 in 2008 ish and wouldn't trust it as a boat paddle. Replaced the stalker cap three times, magazine arm 4 times, & a couple pins in the trigger mechanism a few more times. Went to the a400 been very pleased. I like the super black eagles but personally have always been more partial to a gas gun
