I've been to Lagos and Port Harcourt twice. Both trips were a little over a week long.
Lagos wasn't that bad, you can move around the city if your company has a paid and trusted driver. Actually, the best damn Indian food I've ever eaten was in Lagos. I'm not crazy about Lagos and wouldn't want to work there on a regular basis, but I'd go for a week again if I had to.
Port HC, Never fricking again. That's a sketchy arse shithole man. I didn't see any on my trip, but coworkers saw a body in a gutter, and another saw a man get jumped and beaten by a mob.
In general, Nigeria is what a true 3rd world country looks like. It took at least a week of being stateside to get the stench of the place out of my sinuses. Death is a mosquito bite or a wrong place at the wrong time away at any given minute, and life ain't worth shite there.
Ghana is much better. Safer, and more westernized.
