Simple. LSU lost touch with Alabama because our recruiting nose-dived. Sure we had highly ranked classes, but they had huge holes in them. We went two years in a row without signing a single interior defensive lineman! We signed one interior linebacker in two years. And we all know how crappy our QB signees were.

I am not a Miles-basher. But Miles has ultimate responsibility and these recruiting gaps should not have occurred in the first place. Inexcusable.

what makes you think the next special teams coach would be better, the greener grass syndym has killed a lot of teams including LSU in all sports in the past who was special teams coach three years ago !

I guess this myth will never die. There are visible differences in our offense with each OC under Miles. Every head coach, with an offensive background, has a say in offensive plays.

Which proves my point even further! There's a certain style, a certain rhythm CLM likes his teams to play, which depends greatly on forced TO's and special teams play!

No it doesnt. Youre insinuating that Miles doens't allow Cam to call plays when in fact you can tell the difference in play calling from Jimbo,Crowton,Stud, and Cam. The playcalling is not the same for these 4 OCs. Now if you want to say our ball control offense has stayes the same then ok but we havent been running the same plays for Miles' tenure. Posters keep acting like its the same offense from OC to OC and its just not based on facts
