Skipped right to page three and saw anti-circ wall of text. When did the thread derail?
To answer the OP, I've yet to determine which is easier. My two-year-old son is just a two-year-old. Does whatever the frick he wants and can be an a-hole for no reason at times, but reasonably backs down when told no. He listens to me a lot better than he does to my wife. My daughter is 5 and is just super-emotional and sensitive. She is almost always well-behaved but any mildly firm corrective action results in her running to her room and sobbing.
