Love my parents to death. But, my dad is always in his own little world and is even worse when he's on his phone. We can be having a conversation around him, 1/2 way through the conversation he'll put the phone down, look up and ask a question about the conversation that we've already discussed for 10 minutes. He's the kind of guy that will be on an airplane with my wife sitting behind him and he'll put his seat down, not even giving 2 $hit's about my wife's comfort.

My mom is the best. Can definitely be suffocating and always wants to interject her 2 cents, but she's an amazing woman. And, she loves my daughter probably more than she loves my dad (they're still married after 46 years).

My MIL drives me bat shite crazy. She will turn EVERY thing into a story about herself. It's actually quite amazing that she has that many stories about herself because i'm not kidding when I say its EVERY STORY.

My FIL is cool as hell. I can be around him non-stop. He still likes to smoke the dope, still drinks with the best of them, loves sports.....all things that I am into.
