I bought a house with a sprinkler system. I think what you are referring to is a rain sensor. My house has one installed. The problem is, I have no idea where the rain sensor is or what it looks like and I think its faulty because its always saying its wet. I guess I should try calling the old homeowner and see if she knows where its at. Once I fix it though, it will be clutch because I keep making sure I turn my sprinklers off when it rains. I have dogs and I don't want them making a swamp of the backyard if it rains and then the sprinklers run ontop of the rain.

ETA: nevermind. what you posted seems a bit different and is monitored through wifi and a weather forecast. I would think a true rain sensor would be more accurate than a weather forecast. We all know how inaccurate they can be.
