That's stupid reasoning. Limit relief pitchers because they are too good.

Plus Manfred, want to speed up the game?

1. Institute a pitch clock
2. Don't let batters step out of the box and adjust every piece of equipment between pitches
3. Limit trips to the mound. Do like football, a team gets 3 TOs (trips to the mound) per game and that's it.

I think the most extreme measure I would possibly agree with (not that my opinion matters) would be that once in a game a pitcher has to complete an inning unless injured. And I don't really like that but I wouldn't quit watching if thy did it.
