Well, it's the largest facilitator of second-hand sales, so it kind of goes with the territory. But I'm surprised that eBay allows people to sell iCloud locked phones. They might as well list its condition as "stolen."

I still don't understand why AT&T is being shitty if the phone is confirmed to have a clean IMEI (easily verifiable on swappa, so OP needs to do that immediately). Otherwise, I would just do as Blue suggested and ask them for a nano SIM.

ebay could easily implement a swappa-like IMEI check for cellphone sales but whatever. swappa is a billion times better for purchasing phones.
