Could be but I kinda agree that I bet he is starting at NT the first game. He might not stay there but I think he starts. I think there will be a lot of rotating and finding guys spots for the first couple of games before everyone gets settled in. Now I don't know if that is a good thing or not but I think with change to the defensive scheme it will happen.

He could be a guy every now and then you put in there to beat the center off the ball and cause disruption in the middle of the backfield. Not an every down NT but can be an every down DE with a couple packages where he sneaks inside.
How about a passing down formation with him and Lacatoure as the only down linemen with 5 linebackers standing up and the o line/QB has to decide who is blitzing and who is dropping back.

he was the 2nd highest graded interior pass rusher in the SEC last year as graded by PFF. He's likely to stay there
