Keep up? I think you are the idiot missing the point. I am simply asking, when someone is stopped or confronted by police, is it that mentality that causes police to to excessive action? I am not asking if that specific scenario, I am asking if its people not complying with simple request that causes things to escalate.

Would you rather be a smartass who tries to argue your rights or just do as you asked (as long as its not any type of extreme request), let the cops do their job and go on about your day?
