Most of what they "omitted" was not nearly as bad as spun in retrospect. For instance, the preposterous talking point that he "tricked her" by using his sister's name. That's the car he was selling. Or that he "asked for her specifically". Yes, she was the rep for that region, and they had dealt with each other in past sales. etc. etc.
Regardless, all I have to know to understand that Wisconsin "justice" is outrageous is that, at the appeal for the kid, his defense attorney ADMITTED TO WORKING IN SERVICE OF THE PROSECUTION...and yet the kid still sits in prison.

There was a significant failure of due process in Brendan's case - I'm not going to deny that, and I think that Avery is guilty as hell and Brendan was likely involved in some way, perhaps only after the fact.
