He did it on the back 40, so to speak. The Avery yard is connected through a series of dirt roads and trails with no fences or gates to a couple of decent sized open pit mines for, I assume, gravel. He probably abducted her in the trailer or right outside of it, forced her into the car (or he told he they needed to take a picture of a car and had her drive him) then did it back there and had a fire back there on the spot. It clearly didn't occur int he trailer or the garage, but that doesn't mean he didn't do it. They did find burnt remains back there. That's probably where it all went down and the police just moved the evidence to make the case stronger.

Well this isn't good. Is it not a crime to be tampering with evidence? Also, that makes no sense why they wouldn't just make an argument where the actual crime occurred instead of two different places where they didn't(trailer and garage). Its a little disturbing that they convicted them both on separate locations of where the crime could have occurred. Makes no sense.
