You have 2-3 drinks out of a bottle, everyone brings one. Your parties must be fricking awesome if each guest drinks a fifth of hard liquor, holy shite.

The concept is foreign to me, especially on op's scale. Who the hell has 50 friends (drinking buddies) to invite over to give themselves bottles of liquor?

That is what it is supposed to be...but usually ends up in a drunk fest and everything around is crushed.
