good call.
Detroit won a WS versus Red Sox after the #1 Denny McClain tore up his body going for 30 wins, pitching on short rest. Mickey Lolich was an elite #2. Won 3 games, WS MVP.
Hamels pitched like a #1 for the Phils in one WS.
