1- Bertman and Okeefe worked to get Miles signed and beat Martin to the punch.
2. Powers that be were working on a backup plan if Miles took the job. Both sides were worried that the other didn't want them.
3- Tubberville was never a candidate, Spurrier really didn't want it and Jimmy was still trying to convince him to even look at it when Miles signed the contract. That left 1 Sexton client.
4-Per the advocate today, that said client was in Baton Rouge looking at property and projects and it was not for business purposes as he is not a part of the project. NOW, if one thinka OFHC was looking for porperty in a subdivision that was open to the public and a subdivision where he would have neighbors, you didn't know OFHC.
5- According to Detroit Press, after Miles signed the contract and after he said he would be LSU's coach next year, he spoke with Michigan and their search committee. Did anybody give thought that Miles was cordial, spoke with them and offered his assistance in helping them find a head coach for his alma mater. Did anyone think he may have offered advice to dissasociate with Carr. Michigan will not have Les Miles until Lloyd Carr is removed.
6- Miles is recruiting and the Top player in Louisiana committed to him Sunday.

I'm ignorant here, but it sure sounds like it, doesn't it.
