Something that I was think about was the amount of time that Will spent in the upside down without food or water. He was there for like a month, right? How was he surviving? What was sustenance? Is there more to this or is it just a minor plot hole? I don't care if it's a plot hole, but I was wondering.

Wasn't it more like a week or so? I think the entire show was basically about a week and a half to two weeks. Not that it isn't a minor plot hole I was wondering about when I saw him in the fort myself, but yeah.

I thought Will was missing for 1 week.

As others said, it was closer to a week.

I'm also assuming that it's possible he could've found something to sustain him in the upside down if we're assuming the box Hopper fills with food and Eggos can be accessed by Eleven in the upside down.

it seemed like everything in the show happened within a week or so

on the Russian- I think they were just using 11 to spy on them.

here is a translation from reddit

quote:

There are rumours that Americans have exposed few of our spies on American soil. We are checking it. Perhaps it was intentional disinformation in order to shift our focus from more important things. Contact Evgeniy, Sergey and Anatoliy, find out who made a contact (with them) and if someone didn't, report to me immediately... Actually no, bring Sergey to me right away (/now); He was on duty when this information... "

The scene cuts off to the lab/facility and last few words are repeated again.

"<...> this information... Rumours, appeared first. I need to know where rumours came from..."

Scene cuts back to 'upside-down' World (or rather a limbo at that point) and few words are repeated again.

"<...> rumours came from. If this is not disinformation, but I am fairly certain (that it is disinformation), I don't want to think about the consequences. Go now, what are you waiting for? Hurry up, I need to know where rumours came from.
