WIFI into a separate wireless router

I am moving overseas in a couple of months and looking for a way to stream TV and such. The best thing I know of is to buy a VPN and use it to get around the firewalls of not streaming in foreign countries. SO my question is: Can I take a separate wireless router and essentially create a new Wireless network with a different IP address? Sorry if I am confusing, but I am not quite as tech savvy as I wish! Thanks in advance!

so you want to take a wireless router with you overseas to be able to get US broadcasts?
look into ustvnow.com as an option....really need to have a better understanding of what you're specifically wanting to do...

Not sure if this answers you question, but some routers allow you enter the VPN setting into the router settings so that all devices that are connected to it use the VPN. The other way of doing it is to use VPN software on each device that you want to use the VPN. It's probably easier to connect/disconnect with the VPN if you need to do so using the software method.
