Two iPhone 6's - one Sprint, one Verizon - can I swap the sim cards?

Basically can I swap the sim cards to make the Verizon phone (work phone that I use a ton) have the body of my personal iPhone (Sprint that I use way less)?
My work phone was shattered this past weekend and I'd rather have my personal phone (which will be eligible for upgrade in 4 months) bear the cracked screen than put in a requisition for a new work iPhone (only 5 months old) - especially since I recently got my laptop upgraded do to a similar issue.

Verizon lte phones are unlocked.Sprint phones are locked, but sprint will unock it once you have paid for it or completed your 2 year contract.
