I've spoken with him in Pville on occasion at a local restaraunt (not the Albasha he runs).
In person, the guy couldn't be any calmer or nicer.
He is ex US military and could probably break it off on most people if he had to.

Truth, we would always sit at the bar in Albasha and talk with him during our lunch breaks. Great guy, great American.
