I think the leveling slow down is actually nice. Levelling up is now a secondary concern whereas at the beginning it was my main concern. We worked our butts off leveling up to 20+ so we can enjoy catching high CP pokemon - so enjoy it! Now I can just focus more on hunting and gyms, although I'm still racking up pidgeys and what not for the stardust and mass evolving.
