All these fools saying let North Baton Rouge burn have never been around for the aftermath of a major protest. You laugh and say look at the idiots burning their own stuff. What you don't see is the local and fed governments rush in and offer YOUR TAX DOLLARS to the neighborhoods to rebuild. Of course, the smart ones take the money and leave the area. So you get screwed out of your tax money and the neighborhoods end up with burnt out areas. Not good.

gentrification of a rebuilt NBR would be something I'd proudly support with my tax dollars. How awesome would it be to price the rioters out of the neighborhoods they burned down?
