The caveat is that the accused is a minor. Most background checks that companies perform run them 7-10 years back and use Talentwise or Docusign. A Juvenile felony conviction won't show up, however if your job requires a TS clearance an AFIS check will be performed and your juvenile history will show up.

The mental damage is worse than anything else. It is pretty hard to work your way out of a felony conviction, but spending six years in juvy is worse than anything. There is about a 0.0000001% chance she becomes a normal person if they throw the book at her as a 12 year old
