So I called Red Robin near my house and placed a to go order for lunch. I got there and was directed to the bar to pick it up. I have to use this stupid portable pos system thing to pay for it and wasn't sure how to use it. The bartender asks me what amount I wanted to tip. I said nothing and she gave me a long, awkward stare. Was I wrong for not wanting to tip?

2 dollars is what I generally tip. I tip sonic workers the same.

Here we go again with the "should I or shouldn't I tip".

Oh, and pics of the bartender chick.

If you tip the cashier at the grocery store and the drive thru worker at a fast food place then sure tip.

Places like Waffle House automatically charge a to go fee which is ridiculous in my opinion.

lol could you imagine what would run through a person's mind if someone came up to them after an awkward exchange, and just randomly started taking pics.

Guess it depends on your race. Or at least the race you identify with

Nobody. Thats the whole point. There is no reason to tip host/hostess at a restuarant that hands you your food

$1 Dollar per Entree is the accepted industry standard. Any more or less and you are doing it wrong.

I usually leave a dollar or two. I don't think it should be expected though.
