Probably. Ghsa doesn't give a frick about rush propst
It wasn't GHSA that suspended him. It was the Georgia Professional Standards Commission which is over teachers. And they give long term suspensions and cut them down to a few days all the time so he'll end up suspended for a week or two after his lawyers get involved.

My opinion has been skewed ever since DLS beat the shite out of Evangel on the line of scrimmage.
Plus my best friends are all former Mater Dei athletes so there's that too.

Yeah but let's be real. Alabama HS state football is pretty much a joke compared to Cali, Texas, La, Florida, etc.
This is hilarious

Hoover has beaten 6 State Champions; Byrnes, Evangel Christian, Camden County, South Panola, Union Oklahoma, and Nease, all in the last 10 years.
Alabama HS football is better than LA top to bottom, mobile metro has 11 or 12 guys in the NFL, and the state has the highest number of NFL players in the country per capita. Get that weak shite out of here

New Orleans alone makes Louisiana football > Alabama.
Pro Football Reference shows the number of pros in the NFL by birthplace.
Louisiana - 833 pros, 69 active, 8 Hall of Fame
Alabama - 673 pros, 59 active, 6 Hall of Fame

Pro football reference is inaccurate. It's been cited here before and was missing tons of active players. New Orleans has one more active NFL player than Mobile, so you're wrong. Baldwin and Jefferson county are far superior to any parish LA can offer outside of New Orleans.

That was one of Evangel's weaker teams. If I remember, they lost handedly to Longview prior to that game.

Here is another reference. Granted, this article was published in 2013.
Alabama - 55
Louisiana - 75

Honestly, aside from the obvious in Florida to the east and Texas to the west, I'd expect Georgia to produce more than Louisiana and Alabama.

Should be a good game. I don't know how Hoover will matchup against, but Jalen Parker should be a pretty good QB coming into his junior year for the Bucs. Keep a look out for Kam Ford. He's a smaller, yet quick type of wide out.
Like I said, I don't know how Hoover will matchup with a team from Texas. My cousin played at Bridgeport Texas and even a little small town of 500 took high school football huge and had fans show up in droves for their rivalry vs Decatur. Should be fun though. I always love big matchups like this.

frick, isn't Hoover's HC suspended for a year?
Posted on 7/4/16 at 10:14 am to Gary Busey
He doesn't coach Hoover anymore

Well, that certainly won't help Hoover. I'm sure they'll be fine though.
Always rooted for Hoover against Prattville when I was in high school. Really miss getting into high school football like I used too.

AL>LA. LA highschool football is no different that any southern state with similar demographics. AL has more kids get D1 scholarships and has more kids sign with power 5 conferences and has more players currently in the NFL.

this game is going to be just like them mississippi boys ( south panola) running their mouths on the rant how they will blow hoover out..yada yada yada. and i tried to make bets with the that hoover would beat them..nobody took me up on the offer either..allen is going to get beat..plain and simple. Hoover is just freaking good. after this game, people around the globe will start to list hoover as one of the best football schools in america.

Last year Clay Chalkville was the best team in AL. Hoover plays in 7a and Clay Chalkville plays in 6A.
I watched both teams demolish 2 of the best teams in Tennesee Blackmon and Oakland last year in a kickoff classic outside Nashville. I thought Clay Chalkville was on a whole other level than all the teams there including Hoover.

They have one of the best players in the state next year actually in Nico Collins.
Crazy the amount of talent Jefferson County has.

La has the most NFL players per capita. Alabama can make the claim that their high schools may field better teams, but in a state smaller, Louisiana puts more pros in the league than Alabama. I will say it's impressive that 90% of those players are from the Mobile area. It's more spread out in La, from Nola, BR, Laffyette, Monroe, and Shreveport.

AL has more players per caita so you are wrong. Mobile has the most players per capita for a city also. You are just wrong all over as AL has players all over the state. Mostly from Mobile, Baldwin, and Jefferson County.
AL and LA have similar populations. LA has a larger African American population, but AL still has more players in the NFL and more per capita.
In the last decade South Carolina, Missippi, Lousiana, and Alabama have all held the title for most players per capita. AL has held it for the last two years. In 2014 AL had twice as many players drafted as LA and took over the lead and has increased it.
LA is not special. All the gulf coast and deep south states with high percentages of black people pump out talent at a high level.
LA is actually overratted by people on this sight.
