Never said the world did revolve around myself, it would make sense to have the biggest college baseball game played in primetime rather than middle of the day on a weekday.

Of course. That's why the 1st 3 games were originally scheduled for 7 p.m. But shite happens and you adjust accordingly.

I was thinking last night that I can't recall too many rainouts in Omaha since I've been watching the CWS. It must not rain that much in Nebraska in June. Or I could just have a terrible memory.

And I'm with whoever said that college baseball is not fun anymore. I can't force myself to watch unless LSU is playing. I was actually gonna try to tune in a bit last night since it was the finale game and I was familiar with CC.

But they have taken away everything that was unique about college baseball and tried to turn it into the MLB game. Only with far inferior players, which in turn, makes for a far inferior product. To me, it's similar to college basketball now. With so many teams making the tourney, it makes the regular season moot(and the worst one in sports). No games--by themselves--really mean anything. And since all the good players leave early now, it is just a vastly inferior product than the NBA. I'd much rather watch a January game between the Nets and Kings than one against UNC and Duke.
