I downloaded an SNES emulator on my phone and need some games to play. Right now I have:
Zelda: A link to the past
Mega Man X
Nightmare Busters
Super Back to the Future
Earth Bound
Need a few more. What else should I be playing?

I heard the Giant Bomb folks hating Mega Man X. The releases as a kid are fun but haven't played as an adult.

Mario RPG. Anything with precision control will be damn near impossible on your phone.

I guess I could have actually posted in that one thread, but the Mega Man series is one that I never could get into and honestly didn't see the appeal.

I liked x but I think the giant bomb complaint is that they had enough mega man at that point

If you are on your phone, make sure you don't get a button-mashing side-scrolling platformer.
Doesn't seem like you did, which is good. I don't have any suggestion from your list, just want you to know the limits of your emulator and device.

Of course you didn't, it was hard and punishing

Shtt I was like 9, I needed more Mega Man. Plus X1 is super easy, can't say the same for X2 and X3.

I like that picture. It was a game of failure and experimentation, much like souls.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms II
Uncharted Waters:Widening Horizons
Aerobiz: Supersonic
Mario Kart
Tecmo Superbowl
Tecmo Baseball
NBA Jam
Admittedly the first 3 titles aren't mainstream. They were produced by KOEI. The first two are historical simulators that are hella fun. The third puts you as the CEO of an airline company and you basically run an airline empire against 3 other AI players (or human if you have people present). Also very fun.

GOAT tier level design
Awesome bosses after every level
Best music of the era
Play in any order and gain power ups from each boss that help you progress on other stages, essentially inventing the action rpg platformer
Perfect difficulty, with a fair challenge from the design but not totally brutal and impossible.
MM is one of the greatest series of all time, and was the most ripped off from that era. More so than Mario and Zelda. Games like Whomp Em, Little Samson, DuckTales, and Darkwing Duck were total shameless ripoffs yet they're great games in their own right

all 3 of the Donkey Kong Country games. DKC 2 is my favorite game of all time.

That is a damn solid list. I would add super ghouls and ghosts

Fantastic list. The only ones I'd add to that would be final fantasy 6, chrono trigger (highly highly recommend), and zelda a link to the past.
