HIJACK...
I have a Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 that has shite the bed. Auto focus is unreliable at best and shite at worst. Especially in low light. It's probably my fault because it got pretty damp in Tuscaloosa for the LSU game last year.
It really broke down in the middle of a wedding I was shooting. It's my workhorse lens. 
I wonder if I should just buy a new one (The new equivalent Sigma or Tamron is about $420) or get this one fixed.
Opinions?

I'll have to get the number off it but it fell off my desk while extended and jammed it in breaking something so now it's crooked and can't zoom in or out
