Williams is the only one who may play a role. The other 3 have 3 senior league appearances combined since 20011. How can you realistically say they should have a major contributor at the world cup.

Because they are better than fricks like Orozco, Castillo, Wondolowski, Beckerman, and Zusi. It's really that simple.

How can you say they can't? All the guys I mentioned are at worst second choice options that are better and younger than our current second choice options, and at best are deserving of starting.

I assume you meant 3 senior USMNT appearances. It's not Villafana's, Lletget's, or Lichaj's fault that Jurgen refuses to call them in despite them being some of our best options.

This is the same coach who looked at Donovan, injured Johannsson, Brad Davis, and Chris Wondolowski and said yep, the worst of the bunch is Landon Donovan.
