Were you Supply or some other administrative MOS? There's no way this would fly in any combat-oriented unit. My command would have had the NCOs get their shite together or they would be admin-sep'd.

Key word = Barstow! You do know that is a logistics base, right? I was an MP. I later transferred to Camp Lejuene, where I did train with/was connected to the field units (2nd FSSG) and the MEU.
