Might be making a trip soon too. Any nearby trails worth checking out for an AM hike before beer?

My wife and I went into Pisgah National Forest. We climbed Mount Pisgah and rode on the Blueridge Parkway. We also did some trails in DuPont State Forest another day. All of it was great. There are hundreds of other options as well though. I heard Mount Mitchell was amazing, but it is a little further out and the parkway wasn't completely open to it when we were there.

For brews, Wicked Weed is a must. I'd also check out Burial and Thirsty Monk. Desoto Lounge is a cool dive in West Asheville - food's real good, people watching's top notch. As for hiking, the waterfalls in the area are pretty neat.
