Well, I mean considering that the people were doing something that against the laws and have now been arrested for violating such laws, I'd say the laws are doing what laws are supposed to do.

Gun control seems to be the only situation where people point to violations of the law as justification for not having the law in the first place. Or do you also suggest that there is no point in having laws against theft and murder since sometimes people are arrested for stealing and killing?

Because it only impacts law abiding citizens and doesnt deter law breakers at all.

So owning a 30rd magazine is now equal to murdering someone. I guess that makes sense. Why not just dump the stupid law since it doesn't work and make harsher penalties for theft and murder?

I think I'd be for more executions of murderers than paying taxes to feed/shelter them for the rest of their lives.

Prohibition laws do not work when you have a large supply and big demand. In fact, it creates a dangerous black market
