More power to you. I usually look for the silver lining, but I can't find one in that set (except maybe for the Lifeboy bustout). The other week was my first show in 4+ years...if it had that second set, I might've forced some mild enjoyment out of it, but the post-show download would've never seen the light of day in my house.
That set might've been more appropriate in a tiny smoke-filled lounge somewhere, but not in front of an arena-sized crowd...

You kids are spoiled...
Remember the 5 years there were ZERO Phish shows?..I do.
Or when, after, 1995, there was no more Jerry?..I do.
I'll take a "not fire" second set any day over the alternatives above.
This band delivers damn near every night when playing, constantly changing set lists to keep it creative and bringing new material to the table.
Kudos to the Phish...

No way am I "spoiled". Gone are the days when I'd be able to catch multiple shows in the 90's. Because of multiple "life-related shite" obligations, I've been to only 4 shows during the 3.0 era, so I'm most definitely in the "just happy to be here" camp. While other folks were crapping on Charleston, I enjoyed my time at the Sat show I attended.
But sorry, this set just shat the bed, and there's no other way to spin it. Does that mean it's all downhill from here? Absolutely not.

Crimes of the Mind---I have actually seen this bust out live!!...25 years ago at The Ivory Tusk in Tuscaloosa!
I didn't think there were too many bust outs left after the last couple years, but they are digging deep tonight...
