I did. I also have a complete set of drawings he did for my mother that was never built. He would not draw it until the property was bought so she bought a lot, hired him to draw it and never built the house. I sold the lot when she died. He drew their house in 1966 and was an old family friend.

I saw Chris Town last week. His dad Sonny, (Hays Junior) is an engineer and built many of his fathers houses.

I live in one of the first houses he ever designed....might be the first. Built in 1951. His style must have evolved over time to the West Indies look because mine looks nothing like any of his published works.

I have set of house plans and construction document. I'm the second owner.

I knew his grand daughter in law. She took me to visit him several times. Incredible guy...that German Shepherd on cover of his book was a terrifying animal. I think I sharted once when it charged me.

Did you go to school with them (the Town boys)? And maybe a certain state senator? I'm guessing I know you IRL

I dated a girl in HS that lived in one of his houses, and he also did my Dad's next door neighbors. Very different sized houses between Pike's Lane and Unversity Acres...

I went to school with a couple of his grandkids. See them all the time. One lives in a home his grandfather designed.
You can always tell when you walk into a home Mr. town designed. It's got a unique look and feel all it's own
