My advice is stay away from the OT for now so you can give all your attention to Leonel and the family that's there with him. Too many trolls that would love to get under your skin and distract you from what's important.

I understand the trolls considering the nature of the OT, but the family is just simply trying to spread the word because they want to make sure Leo is completely taken care of as well as his daughter, it's the most important thing right now

ESBSoldier don't worry about the trolls keep up the good word on here by getting out the message for fellow Tiger fans to contribute to his medical expenses. This could have been anyone of us on here.

I agree, but at the same time, even something as high as $10,000 is a high out of pocket deductible for someone with health insurance.

Could be even worse with out of network fees. I suspect they based the $25k goal on that.

Plus there's a denial code for "service/procedure provided as a result of terrorism". There shouldn't be a denial code for terrorism. It violates the entire premise of insurance. I've never seen that denial actually happen and I doubt it will here because it would be PR nightmare, but theoretically it's possible.

Your stepson works for me. Please tell him we are thinking about him and his fiancé's family this week.
Also he is a damn good employee and a good kid. He will be taken care of for the week he is gone.

I am the stepson mentioned by the OP and I am with them in Orlando and the money is being raised strictly for his medical bills rehabilitation and physical therapy. Any left over money will be used for his daughter. Things are difficult right now and there are a lot of unknowns. We have as many questions about the situation as everyone else outside of the loop does.

Hope everything works out for your loved one!

Yeah, as I mentioned, the $25k goal is perfect reasonable for medical bills, loss of income, child care, etc. I was just pointing out how some people abuse this kind of thing, but didn't mean to imply that the situation in the OP was an example of that abuse.

I don't want to turn this in to a political thread but Obama gave like 70 zillion dollars to the familes of the South Carolina victims so hopefully he does the same for Orlando.

I'm friends with his brother who is in the military. Damn good dude, I'm sure his brother is too. Sad for everyone involved.

Famous people should save their prayers and contribute something, they won't miss a mill here and there collectively.
